Dear my friends&Co.

Intro:

So, here we go. After developing my idea to publish my own website passed through more than 5 years. Yes, indeed I lost 5 years that at this moment I could having more visit than famous blogs like Steve’s, Ming’s or Eric Kim’s (hello Eric, how are you man!).. Don’t laugh, nobody knows…

During these last 5 years what I am doing are: I have changed a Job twice, I have married, I had a Child (the most beautiful and photogenic handsome boy called NAOKI) and at this moment waiting for final announce of actual company to be fired in few months. Yeah! Passionate of life of «Salary-man» (in japan know as person who works in a company and receives fix salary each month). So I really don’t do nothing exception of work hard and take a many rolls of pictures in each trip I made with my wife.

Presentation:

My name is Hiroyasu Hosoya and I have been capturing a picture around 10 years. It was not my passion, just taking some stupid picture with my school mates and having fun with them and reminding how stupid we are.

Thanks to my girlfriend (my wife Marta) I started taking a “normal” picture. What is normal? I don’t know.. but for sure there is no picture of “bold ass” or some kind of censored pictures. After several years and with a good comment received from my friends and families (I think there were lying) I convinced that I am a great photographer! Yeah, I am super happy mind!

G.A.S Monk:

When somebody says that you are the Best or you got a talent the “Great People” keeps those eulogies inside. But some people like ME, as you are good photographer wants buy the best camera to keep shooting a better pictures. Oh yes! From Sony A200 to Sony A500 and then A850 with all prime pricy Carl Zeiss lenses and carrying 10kg of photo gears around the world just taking a Tourism pictures that you can take with super Iphone 6!!!. I am stupid! The GAS “gear acquisition syndrome” is real! It’s exist! And very tough to get out from there. I have purchased Canon 5Dmk2, Nikon D7000, Olympus OMD, etc….I don’t know how much many I lost… and probably most of investment is unknown by my Wife. (She is still with me)

LEICA:

The first opportunity I had with Leica is when my grandfather passed away. He had a leica IIIf with red dial and 50 Summitar screw lens attached. Analog.. yes… Film.. yes… its working? Let’s try it. I purchased first roll of Kodak film and I start shooting. The feeling was nice, small, compact, vintage, hipstar mode On! When I saw the result of the develop.. Oh shit! There was big lighting through all the each pictures! Bad man, bad man… it is not a great start.

After several month, I decided get into Leica’s world! Of course, starting from Leica M8, M6, M5, M2, M4, MP… and finally I kept with Leica M7 and M4 with 28 Elmarit V3 and 50 Summicron V5 and Kodak T-Max 400. One of the reason of fixing with this combination is the birth of my child and I cannot spend more money for cameras…
